So I was wandering around Melb CBD last weekend and it struck me how overweight and unfit we are as a nation.

Did you know that how you LOOK is due primarily to diet – about 80% and exercise about 20%.

63% of Aussie adults are overweight or obese and it’s more males (70%) than females (56%).

OMG – that’s nearly  2 out of 3 people.

67% have very low physical activity and it gets better – only 6% of adults have an adequate daily intake of fruit and veggies.

So – we’re a fat, lazy nation and we don’t eat well enough.  It’s quite disturbing.

Australians have become very complacent about our health, fitness and weight.  It’s not just about  how we look, it’s also about our health and wellbeing – for now and the long term impact.

Don’t be one of those stats – diet is a huge component of our weight and health – here’s 3 easy steps to help bring change to your diet.

  1. Look at WHAT you eat
  2. Look at HOW MUCH you eat
  3. Look at WHEN you eat and how you feel afterwards

LIVE TO EAT not EAT TO LIVE.

Think about what you fuel yourself with. When you’re aware – then you can change!
